LASER REMOVE MOLD
Moles, as they are called in medicine, are found in many people. Sometimes people want to have their moles removed for aesthetic reasons. The most important issue in removing moles is to decide whether they are benign or not by the dermatologist. Moles that are likely to be malignant are definitely not treated with laser. They must be surgically removed and sent to pathology.
WHICH MOLES ARE DANGEROUS?
The dermatologist decides whether a mole is dangerous or not. But you should know in which cases you should consult a doctor. In order to understand which moles you should consult a doctor, you need to apply the ABCD rule.
HOW IS THE ABCD RULE APPLIED?
- It is asymmetry. It is important if there are uneven color and shape changes in the mole itself, that is, if there is asymmetry.
- Border means border. Benin is the situation where there are indentations and protrusions at the borders.
- Color means color. The fact that the colors of the moles are different, that is, instead of being all one color (black, brown, dark brown, red), they are in different colors.
- Diameter is the diameter. It is important that the diameter of the mole is greater than 60 mm.
If you have moles that contain two or more of the four criteria in the ABCD rule, you should see a dermatologist as soon as possible without panic.
WHICH MOLES ARE REMOVED WITH LASER?
All moles that are seen by a dermatologist and decided to be benign can be removed by laser.
IS LASER MOLE REMOVAL DIFFICULT?
Removing moles with a laser is definitely not difficult. Since it is anesthetized beforehand, you will not feel much pain. The process takes a few minutes for me alone.
DOES LASER REMOVAL LEAVE SCARS?
When the mole is removed with the laser, if the mole is small and superficial, there is no scar. If it is large and deep, a small, slightly pitted, skin-colored scar may remain.
WHAT SHOULD PEOPLE WITH MOLES PAY ATTENTION TO?
Protection from the sun is very important. Avoid sudden, intense and direct exposure to the sun. Avoid exposure to sunlight, especially between 11:00 and 15:00.
Sunscreen should have a high protection factor, at least 15 for adults, 30 and above for children (ideally SPF 50), and should provide equal protection from UVA and UVB rays. Sunscreen should be used half an hour before going out in the sun and should be repeated every two or three hours. In open environments such as the seaside, sitting under an umbrella is not enough. Unless additional sun protection methods are applied, sunburn will occur due to reflected UV rays. Likewise, we should know that on cloudy, spring or summer days, a significant amount of sun rays will pass through the clouds and cause serious sunburns. Dressing is the best way to protect yourself from intense sunlight. Short-sleeved garments are better than sleeveless ones and should preferably be tightly woven garments. A wide-brimmed hat and polaroid glasses should be used (as UV is also harmful to the eyes). Children's clothing with a factor of 50 protection is now commercially available, including swimwear.
LASER BENIGN TREATMENT PRICE
In laser mole purchase, the price is determined by the number of moles, that is, as the number of moles increases, the price increases.
