1. Acne
One of the most common causes is acne. Acne usually occurs in areas such as the face, back, shoulders and chest, as a result of blockage of the sebaceous glands. Pimples can be red, swollen and inflamed, or they can appear as fluid-filled blisters. They are usually caused by hormonal changes, excessive oil production, stress, genetic factors or improper skin care.
2. Folliculitis
Folliculitis is the inflammation of the hair follicles. As the hair grows, small, red, sometimes pimple-like blisters form on the skin. Folliculitis, which occurs as a result of infection, usually occurs after shaving or due to bacterial infections on the skin. It often manifests itself with swelling, pain and redness on the skin.
3. Inflammatory Skin Conditions
Some skin conditions can cause acne-like lesions. These include dermatitis (inflamed skin), psoriasis (psoriasis), lupus and rosacea. These diseases usually manifest themselves as redness, flaking, inflammation and acne-like sores on the skin.
4. Herpes Simplex Virus (Genital and Oral Herpes)
The herpes virus can cause acne-like sores in the form of water blisters on the body. These lesions, which can be seen in the genital area and on the lips, are painful and are usually a symptom of a viral infection. Herpes can be transmitted through contact, and as the infection progresses, these blisters can burst and turn into sores.
5. Swellings and Cysts
Some swellings and subcutaneous cysts may look like pimples, but they are usually caused by blockage of the oil glands or infection. Sebaceous cysts are formed by blockage of the oil glands under the skin and usually grow over time. They may appear as hard blisters that may be filled with fluid or pus.
6. Allergic Reactions and Contact Dermatitis
As a result of allergic reactions, acne-like sores may appear on the body. In particular, contact dermatitis may occur in people who are sensitive to chemicals on the skin (soaps, lotions, perfumes). In this case, itchy, red, inflamed and acne-like rashes are seen on the body.
7. Psoriasis
Psoriasis causes silvery scales and acne-like lesions to form on the body as a result of the rapid proliferation of skin cells. It usually occurs in areas of the body such as the elbows, knees, and back. This disease manifests itself with inflammation and red lesions on the skin.
8. Staphylococcal Infection (Staphyloinfection)
Staphylococcal bacteria can cause infections on the skin and usually cause inflamed, pus-filled acne-like sores. Such infections can occur in limited areas on the body or widely. If a staphylococcal infection is not treated, it can lead to serious skin problems.
9. Hot Weather and Sweating (Heat Rashes or Sweat-Related Skin Reactions)
Heat rashes or small red blisters caused by sweating can resemble acne. Hot weather and humid environments in particular can cause the sweat glands in the skin to become blocked, creating small inflamed bumps.
