The numbing (anesthetic) creams used to reduce pain during laser hair removal can make the procedure more comfortable, especially in sensitive areas. These creams are applied to the skin surface and provide temporary numbness.

The Most Common Numbing Creams
✅ Emla Cream - Contains Lidocaine and Prilocaine, provides effective numbing.
✅ Anestol Pomade - Contains only Lidocaine, provides mild numbing.
✅ TKTX Cream - An intensely effective cream used for tattooing and hair removal.

How to Use?
1️⃣ It is applied in a thin layer to the area where the laser will be applied.
2️⃣ It can be covered with stretch film for greater effectiveness.
3️⃣ Wait for 30-60 minutes, then clean the skin and apply laser hair removal.

Things to Watch Out for
⚠ Do not use excessive amounts! - Substances such as Lidocaine can mix with the blood and cause side effects.
⚠ Do an allergy test! – If you are using it for the first time, it is recommended that you try it on a small area.

⚠ Pregnant and breastfeeding mothers should be careful! – Should not use without consulting a doctor.

Is it necessary to use a numbing cream?
Alexandrite Laser: Since it produces more heat, some people may feel more pain, a numbing cream may be preferred.
Diode & Ice Laser: Thanks to the cooling system, it can usually be applied easily without using a cream.
Nd:YAG Laser: Since it affects deeper, the feeling of pain may be greater, the use of a numbing cream may be recommended.
