This application, which does not leave any traces, is an application that is very sensitive to the color substance called melanin. For this reason, it is not recommended too much for dark colored individuals. Since there may be an increase in fine hair in the face and neck area, this application is not used in these areas. The diode laser type, which has a wavelength of 980 nm, is very effective even in removing fine hairs. It can be used on the face and neck area. Cooling gel is used in the application because it shoots in the close area, not to the skin. For other laser technologies, the wavelength is different. It provides effective results on all skins with its high wavelength.
Nd: Yag and IPL Laser Types
Among the laser types, the Nd: Yag laser, which is used in individuals with a very dark color tone, is a device with a wavelength of 1064 nm. Pain may be felt in direct proportion to the energy of this device, which gives higher energy. For this reason, anesthetic creams are used before operations. IPL laser epilation type cannot be defined as a complete laser epilation. This method, which is a concentrated light system, can also be expressed as waxing. In this method, the hair roots are weakened. In practice, the device comes into direct contact with the skin. The epilation device, which has a large number of sessions, gives the laser beams intermittently. This causes it to be slower than other methods.
