Redness (erythema) in the area of laser epilation is an expected result. It usually goes away in 10-15 minutes, it can take 1-2 hours in people with sensitive skin. Don't worry, it will go away on its own. After the laser, there may be swelling in the hair follicles. This indicates that the hairs are affected. The creams and cold application applied after the session will help the redness and swelling to pass more quickly.
Do not scratch or irritate the area after the laser. You can wash it, but do not do things that will irritate the scrub, such as very hot water.
The area to be made 2 weeks before and 2 weeks after the laser should be protected from the sun. Do not sunbathe, use sunscreen cream. Do not go to the solarium. If the area to be lasered has sun exposure, tell us before the laser session.
In the area where the hairs are thin, such as the face, the hairs become invisible during the application. In areas where the hairs are hard and the hair roots are deeper, such as the legs and back, the hair follicles are seen as black dots. Then it starts to appear.
Next session: Approximately 4-5 weeks for the face area, 6-8 weeks for the body. Some hairs will decrease in each session, and when your remaining hair comes back, you need to come to the next session.
Before you come to the session, you need to shorten your hair. (Except for the face area, you can come without shortening the face area.) Shaving the areas such as bikini, legs, back, armpits with foam the night before and using moisturizing cream increases the effectiveness.
