A study conducted in Europe showed that twelve percent of women experience side effects from cosmetic products. The most common side effect in the study was found to be against soap and cosmetics used for eye makeup. The most common allergens in cosmetics are fragrances and preservatives. These items are; Peru balm, nickel, cobalt, thiomersalate, colophony and can cause allergies when used in eye make-up materials. It is also possible that substances such as nickel, chromium and cobalt, which are used as colorants in eye make-up and mascaras, may cause irritation. It generally uses iron oxide as a coloring agent in mascaras and its frequently used value is 5-10%. This substance causes less side effects than others.
It is used in water resistant mascaras, wax/solvent system. These are removed with special removal agents. The most commonly used solvents are petroleum distillates and isoparaffins, which have varying degrees of volatility. Such mascaras dry out forming a waterproof film on the lashes, so they are difficult to remove even with oil-based cleansing products. Sometimes, ammonium lauryl sulfate is added to mascaras, which can make it easier to remove them from the eyelash. All these substances can irritate your skin. As a result, there are many irritating ingredients in mascara and mascara. It also contains substances that can cause allergies in cleaners. Since these substances will leave some residue even if they are cleaned in each use, the rate of side effects increases in long use.
Which product should I use for makeup?
Unfortunately, the quality of make-up materials is not proportional to their prices. Even the material you buy very expensively can cause allergies in you. Likewise, a product that does not cause allergies to many of your friends may cause allergies to you. That's why we can't say especially use this product. However, using products that can be cleaned with water as much as possible, cleaning well, trying it on the inside of the arm or behind the ear before using, and not wearing make-up on certain days of the week will reduce the side effects.
