Although Botulinum toxin is generally considered a safe procedure, it may not be suitable for some people. It is recommended not to have Botulinum toxin in the following cases:

Pregnant and Nursing Mothers: It is not ethical or legal to research the effects of drugs and applications on pregnant women, so we do not have enough data. In other words, since it is not known whether it has any effect on pregnant women, the fetus or the breastfed baby, the application can be applied six months after birth, that is, after the breastfeeding period is over.

Those with Neurological Diseases: Since botulinum toxin is known to affect the neuromuscular system, it should not be applied to people with neuromuscular disorders, especially ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis), Myasthenia Gravis or Lambert-Eaton Syndrome.

Those with Infections or Skin Problems: If there is any infection, skin disease or open wound in the area where Botulinum toxin will be applied, Botulinum toxin should be postponed until the area heals. It is first checked by our dermatologist and the procedure is performed after the skin problem is treated.

Before any aesthetic or medical intervention, it is important to have a comprehensive evaluation with a specialist doctor and to consider possible risks. FOR YOUR HEALTH, MAKE SURE THAT YOUR PROCEDURES ARE PERFORMED BY A DOCTOR, DO NOT HAVE PROCEDURES PERFORMED BY A PERSON WHOM YOU ARE NOT SURE IS A DOCTOR.
